Unitree
H2
Can the Unitree H2 be imported and sold in the United States?
Reported authorized before the cutoff
Reported to have been authorized before the 28 July 2026 cutoff, on press coverage and industry trackers rather than on a record we have loaded. Treat it as reported, not as a finding of ours. The FCC ID given is 2A5PE-YUSHU012, with a reported grant date of 30 Jun 2026. If it stands, the authorization attaches to the model and newly built units remain lawful to import, sell and use, because the FCC has said the Covered List update does not prohibit the import, sale or use of models it previously authorized. What cannot happen either way is a new authorization for it. We load the record in the official FCC equipment authorization search before any quote.

Full-size humanoid, reported grant just inside the window. Verify before purchase.
Who can buy it, and with what money
Two different gates. Whether a platform may be sold at all is set by FCC authorization and binds everyone. Whether a particular buyer may spend a particular kind of money on it is set by procurement law and binds public money only. The same machine can pass one and fail the other.

Foreign produced. Public agencies and districts should assume their procurement rules restrict this. Several makers including Unitree are reported to sit on the Department of War 1260H list of Chinese military companies. We have not loaded that list ourselves and we cite no record for it here, so treat it as something to check with your counsel rather than as a finding of ours. Institutions that take federal money commonly apply it as an internal bar whether or not a statute reaches them directly. Confirm your own institution's rule. Private and commercial buyers are unaffected.

On 28 July 2026 the FCC added a class of foreign-produced advanced robotic devices to its Covered List. The definition is conjunctive and reaches a device only when all five elements are true at once: foreign produced, over 4.4 lb including any dock or charging base, carrying environmental sensors, networked at 200 kbps or more, and running autonomous navigation or remote-control software. A covered device cannot receive a new equipment authorization, and without one it cannot lawfully be imported or marketed in the United States. Devices authorized before that date keep their authorization, and newly built units of those models may still be imported and sold. That single date is what separates the platforms on this site that can ship from the ones that cannot.
The rule in full→Other humanoid platforms on the board
All 83 platforms →Unitree and H2 belong to their maker. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized dealer for them unless a separate agreement says so in writing. Nothing on this page is legal advice. Status reflects public records on the compiled date and can change, including by revocation of a grant that was valid the week before. Confirm the record yourself before you rely on it.
